Artificial Intelligence (AI) is revolutionising recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and even conflict resolution. Chatbots handle routine HR queries, while predictive analytics flag potential attrition risks.
However, automation also raises ethical questions around data privacy, algorithmic bias, and the dehumanisation of employee experiences. It remains a requirement that transparency, fairness, and human oversight is included in every AI-driven process.
AI can ‘do’ but unlike this familiar film character it cannot empathise, express meaningful emotion, or make the human connection that is so crucial to cultivating a successful, supportive workplace culture.
